Office Tennis! We played this game on the second day of school. It is a game from the popular TV show, "Minute to Win It." This is the clip from the show that explains how to play.

The kids are hard at work in their learning clubs.

 Procedures, procedures, procedures!!! The kids are working on copying down the procedures from the Smartboard. 

 Today we had a class meeting and discussed teamwork. We decided that we are all very different, but work together as one. Ms. Alley's class sticks together as a team! The kids completed a class puzzle that I have displayed on a bulletin board. The kids designed an individual puzzle piece to show that we are all different and unique... but we can fit together to make a team! Next they decided we need a "class name." It was a tied vote between "The Reese's Pieces" and "The Super Stars"... It came down to the last vote and they are: The Super Stars!

The kids had their first music class as a fifth grader. The played kazoos!
